You will be asked to provide information about your business to set up an account for
commercial use. It is important that you are authorised to do this on behalf of your
business or employer. As a guide you will require the following information to complete this
stage of the application process.
Company information
- Company registration details and VAT number (if applicable)
- Company trading address and registered address if this is not the same location.
- Details about yourself to allow us to contact you if we need further information.
Finance information
To confirm where you require us to send your invoices and who to contact
Customs information
This provides us with a minimum customs profile to create your TechPort unique ID
Finally, we will require a signed authorisation to act on your behalf as DIRECT
Representatives
when you open an account with us.
This is part of the automated sign-up process.
If you specifically require your VAT liability paid outright to HMRC at the time of
importation,
please discuss this with our customer onboarding team once your account is established.
